Bursting with the sweetness of fresh tomatoes and the earthiness of garlic, the symphony of tastes in a classic Alla Checca sauce stays with you long after you've eaten it. Tossed with our 100% durum wheat spaghetti, the flavours of this fresh pasta sauce is sure to transport you to the sun-kissed streets of Rome.

  • 200 gm Sorrentina Spaghetti Originale pasta 
  • Salt & pepper to season 
  • 1-2 tsps olive oil
  • 2-3 medium tomatoes
  • 200 gms fresh bocconcini 
  • 3-4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • Sorrentina Pizza Pasta Seasoning
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves as required


    1. Blanch the pasta in a pot of well seasoned water. (please follow the instructions printed on the pack). Make sure you reserve some of the pasta water for the sauce
    2. To make the sauce, deseed the tomatoes and cut them into big pieces. Add this to a large bowl
    3. In the same bowl, add hand torn bocconcini pieces, garlic, a sprinkle of  Pizza Pasta Seasoning, extra virgin olive oil and fresh basil. Mix well
    4. Add pasta to the bowl and toss well
    5. Your pasta is ready to be enjoyed, hot or cold!
