• For the dough
  • 250 gms refined flour + for dusting
  • 1 tbsp olive oil + for greasing
  • 2 tsps instant dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2/3rd cup lukewarm water

  • Polenta for dusting
  • Sorrentina Arrabiata Pizza - Pasta Sauce
  • 200 gms fresh mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Sorrentina Pizza Pasta Seasoning
  • To make your Margherita Pizza, activate yeast by mixing it with sugar and lukewarm water.
  • Set aside for 2 minutes and once the yeast turns frothy, it’s ready to be used.
  • Start making the pizza dough by mixing flour, salt and the activated yeast with water and kneading it to form a soft dough.
  • Once the dough starts coming together, add some oil and knead again.
  • Cover it with a wet muslin cloth and set aside in a warm place for 10-15 minutes to prove.
  • In the meantime, preheat an oven to 180°C.
  • Divide the prepared dough into 2 equal portions. Shape it into a ball, dust polenta and some refined flour on a worktop and roll the dough into a disc. (either with a rolling pin. It’s best to use your hands).
  • Grease a baking tray with some oil and transfer the prepared pizza base on it.
  • Dock the pizza dough with a fork and bake in a preheated oven for 5 minutes.
  • Brush the base with olive oil and spread an even layer of Arrabiata Pizza-Pasta sauce on the base.
  • Top it with mozzarella cheese followed by some basil leaves.
  • Sprinkle Pizza Pasta Seasoning and bake at 180°C for 10-15 minutes.
  • Cut into slices and enjoy.
