Always wanted to make lasagna but worried about the complexity? Our chef's recipe for Chicken Bolognese Lasagna makes cooking up this Italian classic a total breeze. Our in-house, traditional Chicken Bolognese Sauce is the magic ingredient that helps you serve up this authentic lasagna to impress the most discerning palate.
Once the flour has cooked, pour the hot milk in continuously while whisking.
Add the bay leaf and peppercorns and cook on a low flame continuously whisking until it thickens.
Season the white sauce with salt and pepper.
Mix the Bolognese in the white sauce.
Blanch the lasagna sheets in salted water for 4 mins and take them out.
In a baking casserole, spread a good amount of the bechamel and Bolognese mixture.
Place the sheets on top to cover.
Repeat the process, but here on sprinkle mozzarella on the Bolognese mixture before placing the sheet.
Once you’ve placed the last lasagna sheet, spread a generous amount of the Bolognese bechamel mix and add chunks of torn mozzarella on top with chopped parsley.
Drizzle some olive oil and bake at 200*c for 10 mins until the top is nice and golden.
Cut into six rectangles and serve it for family dinner.
