The classic Alfredo sauce comes from humble beginnings. Lovingly created in Rome by a man named Alfredo di Lelio for his pregnant wife, this sauce is a divine concoction of butter and cheese. Today, this sauce has multiple variations. Our simple but scrumptious recipe incorporates the earthy, umami flavours of mushrooms and truffles, to create an authentic but unique Italian dish that’s incredibly hearty and a joy to cook.
